Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (NE)
Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, University of Colorado-Colorado Springs
Ph.D. in Couseling Psychology, University of Nebraska-Lincoln
I have been a licensed mental health in Nebraska since 2004, achieving licensure status in 2015. I have worked as a therapist in residential, outpatient, and in-home settings, and also have extended my skills into administrative roles managing outpatient therapy and assessment programs and supervising therapists in training.
I completed my pre-doctoral clinical training at Boys Town in 2017 with a focus on mental health therapy with adolescents. In addition, I completed prior practicum training in geriatric couseling and college counseling environments.
I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach that includes cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, and existential modalities, while incorporating principles of positive psychology. I enjoy helping clients identify and utilize their strengths in the therapeutic process, taking an individualized approach depending on a client's concerns and personal values. I help clients develop insight into the nature of their difficulties, while creating a plan to move forward and experience enhanced functioning. I prefer to work with adolescent and adult clients using individual and family therapy interventions.
